BeautyForever Hair Review (2023): Quality, Price, and Pros & Cons

With this in mind, I am going to be doing a deep dive review of a product from an E-commerce store called BeautyForever. 

The item I will be talking about is their HD pre-plucked human hair lace wig. This wig was purchased without any incentive and an unbiased honest review will be given.

Overview

BeautyForever is a company based in China that has over 15 years of experience in the business. The company desires to provide high-quality hair and customer service. They have successfully created a mainstream brand of global real human hair products.

When you first arrive at the store’s site, you’ll find it a little underwhelming. It looks exactly like any other hair site. However, the website provides you with plenty of helpful information and tips on how to save money and take advantage of their discounts.

The store offers a wide range of products and although it is known for its wigs, there are many more products and styles that you can also try. Their hair extensions come in a range of densities and colors, which makes the brand stand out.

One of the company’s main goals is to have outstanding customer service. I can say from experience that their customer service is excellent. As soon as my order was complete, I was immediately updated about the status of the shipment.

The delivery of the items was one area which could be improved. The package arrived after the suggested time in a box that was quite damaged. While the products were fine, I would have expected a better service considering the amount of money that was spent on the hair.

While I was not impressed with the company’s speed or way of delivery, many other loyal customers are. Plenty of reviewers stated that their products arrived at a reasonable time. They also highlighted the outstanding quality of the hair.

Hair Quality

The hair was incredibly soft and the style was flattering. It was purchased in the texture straight but the hair had a subtle natural wave to it. The hair even had natural layers which means less customization in the long run.

Many reviews highlighted the fact that the hair didn’t have a smell, which is common with hair pieces. The product I reviewed did have a slight smell but it faded after a while. It would be a good idea to fully wash it before installing it.

Another big plus I found with the hair is the lack of shedding. Running your fingers through the hair and brushing it several times is inevitable while you are wearing it. However, despite this, little to no hair came out as a result, which will contribute to its longevity.

Hairline

The website also claims to have invisible or bleached knots on this piece. As I was reviewing the hair, I noticed the knots were still quite visible. They weren’t showing in an overly obvious way, but I believe a little bit of customization would be needed to conceal them.

This specific piece had a lace closure. The dimension was 5×5 and included a middle parting. The lace seemed durable and was also present in the nape of the neck. Thicker lace can often be difficult to blend in with your natural hairline. As you can see in the photo, the lace is very prominent.

This unit also came with baby hairs. This is almost always needed when styling a wig as it will look more natural. 

Density

The wig was bought at a density of 180%. The hair definitely feels thick, but not overly heavy. The longer length of the hair seems to balance out the high density perfectly.

The straight texture also worked well with this specific density. If the hair had any more texture, 180% may have been too much for this unit. If the hair is too dense, it can start to look fake and make it more difficult to style.

The density of this particular unit cannot be changed easily. Many luxury companies give you a choice between 3 different percentages for this type of wig. While this unit doesn’t allow you to change the density, its extensions are available in a variety of lengths, which makes it possible to customize the style.

Construction

The construction of this cap definitely lived up to the high quality. The closure seamlessly blended into the cap, which means that the unit didn’t look too bulky.

The hair on the side hairline was thick enough to cover the wefts. This is a big advantage of the unit because it hides the cap, and makes this wig look more realistic.  

The sewing was even and there were no loose strings attached. The closure was made from a good, strong material as well. While it may be difficult to blend the closure, you don’t have to worry about it falling apart easily.

Cap Size

The wig lived up to all of the positive reviews. The hair was pre-plucked and had an adjustable strap that allows the hair piece to fit perfectly on the head. This allows for maximum comfort when wearing the unit.

The wig came with 3 combs pre-installed, which included two on each of the sides and one in the back. Having pre-installed attachments is always a plus because it means less work for the user. They can quickly secure the unit to their head without worrying whether it will fall off.

While you aren’t able to choose a cap size, the cap is made from a very durable material that is both stretchy and breathable. A stretchy cap allows for the unit to conform to the head better and look less bulky. 

Store Experience 

My first impression of the E-commerce store was that it looked very similar to other online stores. However, overall, the website is very informative and broken down in a very strategic, yet easy-to-understand way.

Regardless of the information that you are trying to find about the hair, you are likely to find it on the official website.

The landing page highlights the latest deals which are good when staying on a tight budget. It also highlights trending hair on the website, along with information about the company itself. If you join their email list, you get an additional discount.  

Range of Products

BeautyForever has an extensive range of products. Their lace part wigs along with headband wigs are trending, but they have a lot more to offer. For example, other popular options include weaves that include either a closure or a frontal.

Their 100% human hair comes in 10 different styles. The company also has a wide array of wigs. They range from HD lace to transparent lace, lace closures to lace frontals.

There is also the option for some of the wigs to come with a density of up to 250%, which increases the quality of the hair. Picking your desired color is also an easy thing to accomplish with BeautyForever.

If you’ve got a certain product in mind, Beautyforever most likely has an option available.

Customer Support 

Many companies have disappointing customer service, but I didn’t find that with BeautyForever. They offer many different options to reach a representative. The easiest option is their knowledge-based help center which has a collection of articles that answer their most asked questions.

As soon as my order was placed, I received a notification via text about the shipment. They provided both a Whatsapp message and a customer service number to follow up with if I needed to ask any questions. 

The website also provides an email address that you can use to reach out to customer service support. In order to have a conversation in a chat box with a representative, all you need to do is to leave an email address and they will respond in seconds.

Delivery Time

This order from BeautyForever took 8 days in total to arrive, including 6 business days. The company provides free standard shipping for US orders because they are sent from the warehouse in California.

The shipping time is supposed to take an estimated 3-5 business days, and my order was a little behind schedule. If you want the products sooner, they offer express shipping which would mean that the products will arrive in 1-3 business days for an extra $20.

For all international orders, the products will be shipped from a warehouse in China. Shipping is free and the services used are TNT, DHL, and UPS. The estimated arrival time is 5-7 days with regular free shipping. 

While my package didn’t totally align with the stated times, many other customers have received a speedy delivery. It’s also quite essential to note the product came in a box that was damaged.

What Others are Saying

The customer (below) was clearly satisfied with their product. They received the wig in the designated amount of time and were happy with the quality. She had many questions but the representatives responded quickly.

The customer below had used BeautyForever for the first time. Judging by her review, she will use BeautyForever again. The product was received in a reasonable amount of time and the customer gave many compliments about the hair she brought. She also highlighted there were no shedding or smell from the hair.
