One benefit of being in the beauty industry is you start to realize the long term benefit of buying high quality hair. The industry has also taught me to do sufficient research on the company you are buying from.
Today, I will be reviewing the deal of the day that was featured on the site, HK Virgin Hair. This deal included a set of straight bundles ranging from 14-18 inches in length.
Overview
HK Virgin Hair is a company that is based in Miramar, Fl. They offer a variety of different products that are beauty related, not just hair. This small business is determined to offer top quality hair at an affordable price.
At first glance, the company site does not seem very professional. The site appears to be thrown together and the colors used make reading the product descriptions difficult. Aside from this downside, the site offers somewhat relevant information and valuable discount codes.
While they do carry a variety of different products, most don’t have the option to be customized. One area of improvement could have been on their product photos, they didn’t correlate and made the site look messy. The photos weren’t engaging for me as a buyer to want to spend my money on the products.

The shipping was $12 and delivered via USPS. This was one of the biggest downsides to the company considering it took weeks for the product to arrive. The bundles took over 4 weeks to deliver which is quite long as the expected delivery is within, at the most, 8 business days.
Most of the reviews made by customers were not very positive. The quality of the hair seemed to pose the biggest problem to buyers. Another downside many customers brought out were the high prices of many of the units that didn’t live up to what they expected.

Hair Quality
Bundles
The hair was purchased in a straight texture which allows you to easily comb through the hair strands. While doing this, you could feel how soft and silky the hair was. This leads to little to no tangles as the hair isn’t likely to get stuck in a knot.
The hair is black in color but has warm undertones throughout. The straight texture of the hair allows you to easily see the rich color of the bundles. Since the hair is virgin, it’s possible for you to further lighten or darken the hair.
Another benefit of the bundles was the lack of shedding. Shedding can decrease the longevity of the unit making the hair thinner. Since the hair doesn’t have this problem, the bundles can maintain their density.
The density of the unit is average. Considering the hair is straight, denser hair is desired since it can’t be achieved with the volume from the texture. Using all three bundles will give you a standard density for a natural look.
The hair was constructed extremely well. The bundles appear to be double wefted. This will increase the longevity of the wefts and ensure they last longer. Another added benefit is when installing, the thicker wefts will be easier to install and further secure.
The price of the bundles was extremely affordable. You get three wefts that increase in size for $100 in total. The overall quality of the bundles makes this price worth it. If you want a basic buy that only requires installation, these bundles are a great choice.
Store Experience
The first impression when logging onto the store site was how unprofessional it looked. The company is using a Shopify store which appears to have been thrown together. The background on each page was black with hot pink wording that was hard on the eyes.
The layout of the site was generic, they had all products labeled under a collections tab. They didn’t specify what type of products they offered on the landing page, only a deal of the day.
The store did offer a discount when first logging on to the site. They also showcase their social media platforms which allow you to keep updated with the company. Their social media profiles appear to be the best way to interact with the company.
Range of Products
The site carried wigs, weaves, and other hair accessories. One of the downsides to the products offered was the lack of customizations. On most items the only customization was the length.
Another area of improvement could have been their product photos. None of them correlated and it made the site look messy. An alternative could be to use the same model or have a consistent background when taking the photos.
The prices on most items seemed reasonable which is something the company strives to achieve. By providing deals of the day along with bundle deals, they offer affordable units to their customers.
Customer Support
The company never reached out to me during the order process. The site doesn’t even offer the option to contact the company. The brand doesn’t advertise an email, phone number, or contact form.
If you had any problem receiving the order you may be in trouble. This is a big flaw with the brand as they aren’t giving customers a way to receive any additional information. If you really needed to get in contact with someone you could try their social media sites.
The company has an Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter page. DM the company would likely be the easiest way to get in contact. It would have been easier if the website contained a live chat, but this option works well too.
Delivery Time
The shipping on this product was $12 and delivered via USPS. The shipping took what seemed like forever, over 4 weeks. Although the delivery wasn’t especially fast, the products arrived damage free.
The company offers 4 different shipping methods at a variety of different prices and shipping speeds. The shipping ranges from $12 to $40. One benefit of shopping with this company is they do offer free shipping on some occasions.
For anyone shopping outside of the United States, the company does offer international shipping. It’s important to keep in mind the business will not cover any additional custom fees. If your country charges a fee, you will be responsible for paying the difference.
